How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

1. Application

Complete the online application form or download and submit the offline form available in our Resources section.

2. Submit Documents

Upload or submit certified copies of academic transcripts and identification. Incorrect or falsified submissions may result in rejection.

3. Selection Criteria

Selections are made based on eligibility standards approved by the Academic Council in accordance with SLQF guidelines.

4. Fee Payment

Once selected, you will receive an official acceptance letter with instructions for completing enrollment and fee payment.

Admission Criteria by Level

Bachelor Degree Programs

Academic Qualifications: G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) or an equivalent international qualification that meets SLQF entry requirements.

English Requirements: IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) or passing the internal Lexicon English Placement Test.

Selection Criteria: Includes academic merit, entrance exam results (if applicable), and interviews evaluated by the Academic Council.

Foundation & Diploma Programs

Academic Qualifications: Successful completion of G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) or an equivalent qualification.

English Requirements: Basic competency in English. Students with lower proficiency may be directed to English preparatory programs.

Progression: Foundation programs offer direct pathways into bachelor’s degree programs upon completion of the required criteria.

Find answers to common questions regarding documents, eligibility, examinations, student support, and academic policies.

Students must maintain at least 80% attendance in lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to be eligible for examinations.

Students failing a course may be allowed to re-sit examinations. If a student fails after re-sitting opportunities, they must repeat the course with the next cohort.

Students should first attempt informal resolution. If unsuccessful, a formal written complaint is submitted. Unresolved cases can be escalated to the Faculty Grievance Committee and eventually to the Institute Grievance Committee.
