Students are expected to conduct all academic work honestly, avoiding plagiarism, fabrication, or misrepresentation.
1.1 Plagiarism Policy Summary
- Plagiarism is the presentation of another person’s work or ideas as one’s own without proper acknowledgment.
- All sources (books, journals, websites, AI tools) must be acknowledged using the prescribed citation style.
- Severe cases of misconduct (e.g., >40% similarity) may result in penalties, including suspension or dismissal from the Institute.
2. Examination and Attendance Policy
- Students must maintain at least 80% attendance to be eligible for examinations.
- Use of unauthorized materials or devices during exams is strictly prohibited, and malpractice results in disciplinary action.
- Students failing a course must be allowed to re-sit examinations or repeat the course with the next cohort.
